Our cotton sailor with Norse Projects
Le Minor has forged a natural and strong link with this label from another peninsula, to express the best of our two brands. Casual and slightly loose fitting, the Holger sailor has been a staple of Norse Projects' collections for several seasons now. We made it in a thick fabric for a perfect fit and a certain robustness. These pieces, as Breton by their origin as universal by their timelessness, are archetypes of the mixed wardrobe, symbols of a simple design, and referenced.
Creation of our heavy cotton sailor
For this collaboration, Holger's sailor jacket was made from our most authentic fabric: a heavy cotton jersey, knitted on our 1960's "14 gauge" machine, which produces a weight of about 400 grams per square meter. An exceptional fabric made from a very raw, open-end "rope-yarn" cotton. The collar of the sailor is finished with a structuring "band of cleanliness", and 2 sleeve labels, which sign the exclusive collaboration between the historical brand Le Minor and the Danish label Norse Projects.
