In 2025, Le Minor and Flâneurs continue their creative dialogue with a new flagship piece: the Noragi Chunky. Following on from the contemporary kimono of 2024, this second collaboration pays tribute to the same Japanese silhouette while enriching it with a completely redesigned knit.
The Noragi Chunky retains the fluid cut and functional lines of the original kimono, but now features a knit that is more voluminous than Milano knit. For this evolution, Le Minor's workshops delved into their archives and revived the ribbed collar of the legendary grandfather jacket, a zipped knit that has been in the catalogue for as long as our most experienced seamstresses can remember.
Knitted from 100% virgin wool, this jacket has a dense, warm texture that is both robust and comfortable. Its deep navy blue colour embodies Le Minor's maritime heritage, while the chunky knit structure gives it a contemporary volume and a strong presence.
This creation illustrates the meeting of two worlds: that of Flâneurs, a Rennes-based boutique run by Peter and his team, known for its discerning selection of Japanese brands, and that of Le Minor, a Breton company whose expertise has been recognised in Japan for over forty years. Together, they have created a piece of balance: a Japanese-inspired cardigan, crafted in the knitting tradition of Brittany.
The -10% discount for subscribing to the Le Minor newsletter does not apply to these products, as this is a collaboration with the Flâneurs boutique.
