"Very good condition": this children's sailor is in very good condition. It has been washed, and has the natural condition of a garment that has had a first life. Off-white child's sailor hat. Off-white marinière with navy stripes.
Brand: Le Minor. Marinière 100% cotton in 14 gauge. The 14 Gauge indicates a thick knit, more like a sweatshirt than a T-shirt.
Defects and repairs are always mentioned in the description. Here the garment has a small stain, visible in the pictures. All our second hand clothes are washed beforehand.
THE SAILOR FOR CHILD
The navy striped sailor is THE Breton piece. It represents the French elegance but it is also the flagship piece of our brand because it is 100% made on our territory. Indeed, the Le Minor sailor jacket has been sold for nearly 40 years and is an integral part of our wardrobe.
Our sailors are made according to ancestral know-how, in our workshop in Guidel. They are first knitted in a rayon jersey in thick stitches (14 gauge), from cotton yarn spun in the Vosges. The fabric is then cut by hand to give the shape of our marinières. All the finishes of our sailors' shirts make them a top-of-the-range and durable product over time.
OUR SECOND HAND CONCEPT
In November 2020, we launched the Gwenner Glaz: Green Friday in Breton. The concept is simple: collect your old clothes, from all eras, and offer in return vouchers to our customers. With all these returns, we were able to open a second hand fashion department, with carefully selected second hand clothes.
Please note: all our second hand clothes are second hand clothes, usually already worn. They may therefore have traces of wear. Nevertheless, we have sorted them, selected them carefully, cleaned them and repaired them when necessary (if necessary, it is always specified). Non-repairable garments were recycled in the same way as all our production scraps. We have classified the second hand clothes in 3 categories:
- Very good condition: garment that has been worn very little, has no defects, and no signs of wear
- Good condition : garment worn and washed several times, with slight traces of wear which are mentioned in the description, but no defects or repairs
- Correct condition : garment worn and washed several times, with one or several defects or repairs, which are mentioned in the description and photographed.
