This marinière is based on the cut designed by the French Navy. It can be worn at your size, fairly close to the body and with seven-eighths OR one size up, with sleeves at your size, and plenty of fullness.

Our new white and black Rachel marinière

New: the marinière we've been making for the French Navy for many years is now available in black and white. The colors are reminiscent of the Breton flag.

It's made from Rachel fabric, a sturdy, knitted fabric with a structure similar to our Milano knit, giving it a lovely drape. The yarn is a combed cotton that adds softness and comfort.

Cut: rather loose, with 7/8th sleeves. You may prefer to size up for long sleeves and an oversized fit. Refer to our size chart below or contact us for more information.
