Our CPO overshirt for men

Le Minor was inspired by the emblematic US Navy overshirt worn by its Chief Petty Officers (hence the acronym C.P.O.), a rank that corresponds to that of "premier-maître" in the French Navy, and to adjudant in the other armies. The originality of this shirt lies in its cotton jersey knit. This piece from our urban range will protect you from seasonal breezes. It's easy to wear every day, both closed and open, for a workwear look. In navy, this cotton overshirt will match all your outfits, from the most sober to the most colorful. Also available in ecru.

Creation of the CPO overshirt

Le Minor was inspired by the timeless American Navy overshirt, for a 100% made-in-France cotton jersey version. The cotton yarn is carefully spun in Les Vosges, then knitted into jersey using our century-old know-how, on a 60s machine with a thick gauge. Le Minor is the only hosiery in France to produce such a thick gauge. Made entirely in our integrated workshops in Morbihan, the cotton jersey overshirt is robust and comfortable to wear. It is made from a tight knit whose quality is expressed by its high grammage: 400 grams per m².
