Men's Bigouden sweater
To celebrate its 90th anniversary, Le Minor pays tribute to its history and origins with the Bigouden Sweater. This anniversary creation draws inspiration from Bigouden embroidery, one of the Maison's founding crafts. In 1936, Marie-Anne Le Minor began creating dolls dressed in traditional Breton costumes, helping to preserve the region's textile heritage.
The motif, inspired by this heritage, is incorporated directly into the knit using the jacquard technique. It reflects Breton textile traditions and the history of the Maison, whose craftsmanship has continued to evolve over the years.
Knitted from 100% merino wool in our workshops in Guidel, this sweater features a fine, even knit that feels soft to the touch and comfortable to wear. The construction is highlighted by stitching along the sleeves. The ribbed hem creates a subtle blouson effect, while the cuffs and neckline are also finished with ribbed trims.
An anniversary creation that brings together 90 years of Breton heritage and craftsmanship in a knitwear piece designed to stand the test of time.
