- However, to make your knitwear last as long as possible, hand washing is recommended.
- Do not use detergents.
- Dry flat, do not tumble dry.
- Iron at 110°C maximum.
- Professional cleaning with water on a normal cycle.

Our merino wool sailor sweater

The modernised sailor sweater from Maison Le Minor, in a navy blue shade, stands out for its exceptional merino wool, selected for its superior softness compared to our traditional virgin wool models. This natural fibre feels pleasant against the skin while retaining the essential technical properties of a genuine sailor's sweater: waterproof, warm and very durable, made to last a lifetime. This model is part of our ‘thick merino’ range developed for the Spring-Summer 2025 collection.

Just like our classic sailor sweaters, this modern breton jumper is made in our workshops in Guidel and Quimper. Thus, the sailor sweater with ribbed edges is knitted, sewn and assembled by our care, according to manufacturing steps that we have kept in-house for generations. This modern version of the sailor sweater is looser and softer than the historical sweater. This ribbed navy sweater is knitted from a merino wool yarn, guaranteeing a great softness.
