Feminine cut for the Kabig

Our navy-blue women's cropped Kabig reinvents the emblematic Breton garment with finesse, adapting it to contemporary women's silhouettes and uses.

Entirely made in our Guidel workshop in Brittany, this exceptional coat perpetuates the unique know-how that Le Minor has cultivated since 1922, while offering a more contemporary version of this historic piece. The navy-blue woollen cloth comes from Jules Tournier, a leading manufacturer in the Tarn region of France. The classic navy blue shade, deeply rooted in our seafaring universe, lends this cropped Kabig a timeless elegance that complements all styles.

Every detail of this exceptional piece tells both the story of a garment born of the needs of seafaring workers and the evolution of a textile know-how that has adapted to contemporary demands without denying its origins. In offering you a revised, feminized version of the traditional Kabig, we've taken up the coat pockets created by our workshop in collaboration with Courrèges, for winter 1976. When you choose our navy blue women's short Kabig, you're not just buying an elegant, functional coat, but an authentic piece of Breton heritage reinterpreted with respect and creativity, designed to withstand the seasons and the years without ever losing its stylistic relevance or unique character.
