The offwhite Kabig

Our new Kabig embodies the very essence of Breton clothing heritage, which Le Minor has been committed to preserving and reinterpreting since 1922. The centrepiece of our autumn-winter collection, this traditional coat is made in our Guidel workshop using the authentic methods that have made it famous since its first adaptation for ready-to-wear clothing in 1947.

The wool fabric used comes from Jules Tournier, a historic manufacturer in the Tarn region. The ecru colour, faithful to the first models worn by seaweed harvesters in the Pays Pagan region in the mid-19th century, gives this Kabig a rare authenticity while allowing it to fit perfectly into a contemporary wardrobe. Every detail of this garment tells its story and reveals its original function.

The meticulous finishes, with reinforced seams at stress points, are testament to our expertise in knitwear. By choosing our ecru Kabig, you are investing in a durable knit that, in line with our philosophy, is designed to last well beyond passing trends.
