OUR historical jacket

The jacket is similar to a blouse, quite short, it was worn by sailors but also in some uniforms of the National Navy. It has become a trend in clothing, both male and female, especially for its comfort and practicality. It is in the 50s that Le Minor designed its first jackets, in a woolen sheet from Tournier. Elegant and solid, the wool sheet is a naturally waterproof material. This typical Breton garment is characterized by its slit collar, with a wide edge, maintained by two buttons inside the jacket.

Véritable vêtement technique d'antan, la vareuse bretonne signée Le Minor est chaude et résistante. Sa fabrication utilise d'abord une technique de tissage très resserré, doublée d'un foulonnage de la toile, ce qui permet de rendre le tissu naturellement imperméable et efficace contre le vent.

Requis pour composer avec le mauvais temps lors des traversées en mer. Ce modèle de vareuse est la réédition d'un modèle dessiné par Le Minor dans les années 50.
