The grey Kabig

Rooted in our DNA, this wool coat comes in a contemporary grey. Proud of our history, and driven by a deep desire to revive this emblematic garment, we decided to reissue the sailor's kabig using the same production methods as the original: with wooden buttons, a breast pocket, and a grey woollen cloth.

This piece of woollen cloth was originally intended for seaweed harvesters, who wore the kabig as a work coat. It was in 1947 that we transferred it to ready-to-wear. Now it's part of the pantheon of iconic Breton garments. The Kabig is also available in navy blue and red.
