Our button-collar marinière
Our "Henley" button-down marinière was inspired by 19th-century rowers' outfits. It has been reinvented in our Guidel workshop, and is now available in an all-over stripe, completing the range of button-down marinières you've been loving for several seasons.
This marinière is enriched by a British heritage: the Henley collar first appeared across the Channel in the 19th century as a cotton undergarment. Its name comes from the town of Henley-on-Thames, famous for its rowing regattas. Rowers quickly adopted it for its ability to provide excellent range of motion and regulate body temperature - qualities you'll find again in this seasonal knit.
