Our embroidered coach jacket

Directly inspired by the world of sports, this jacket, initially reserved for coaches, has now become a wardrobe staple. Our version respects the traditional codes of the coach jacket, with its oversized and short cut, aka "the boxy cut", its rounded patch pockets and its snap buttons. To add a touch of Le Minor's universe, this jacket is embroidered with our old advertising slogan "Solide à l'eau de mer - Guidel - Bretagne". This slogan evokes the solidity of Le Minor clothing, while the embroidery recalls the first profession of our company: at its foundation, the Le Minor brand was indeed an embroidery workshop.

Our collection "Seawater-Resistant "

With a history dating back to 1922, "Seawater resistant " was the slogan that appeared on the old Le Minor advertisements, extolling the merits of our knits. We wanted to bring it up to date by using it on our coach jackets, t-shirts and tote bags, incorporating a retro typography, a stylized sailor's knot and the inscription "solid in sea water, Guidel, Brittany ". This wink refers to our history, but also to our identity, that of former dressers of fishermen, providing them with sturdy sweaters, these legendary technical clothes that have become style icons. A meaningful story that you will also find on our t-shirts and tote bag. The sea has always been at the heart of our business, and this capsule collection is a way to celebrate it while affirming the sturdiness of our garments, designed to last over time.
