Reissue of the jacket
Originally, "sailor shirt" was a sailor's garment. But not what you might think. No, in the beginning it was the
sailor's jacket, made of waxed linen for fishermen, and of woollen
cloth for the French Navy. This woollen jacket
was reinvented in the 60s by Le Minor:
Raglan sleeves, kangaroo pocket, removable bib... It's this
model that we've decided to reissue for pre-order this year.

Designed in wool sheeting
A warm, comfortable and resistant jacket. Similar to a blouse, it is fairly short and features slits for ease of movement. Elegant and solid, wool cloth is a naturally water-repellent material.
Kangaroo pouch
Originally, the pockets of this functional garment were on the inside to protect the fisherman's notebook and tobacco. Moved to the front for a modern touch in the '60s, this is the version we've re-edited.

V-neck
The jacket has a wide, deep V-neck. Its removable bib turns this jacket into a real windbreaker. You'll also appreciate removing it to wear it in milder weather.
Back to pre-order
We're offering the jacket in its timeless navy blue, in a limited series available by pre-order only: the jackets will be cut to order, just as they used to be in Breton villages.
Pre-orders are open until July 22, for delivery at the end of August.
