Our merino wool hoodie

In Armorica, we knit hoodies in merino wool, to elevate this basic to the rank of luxurious wardrobe piece. Le Minor's mottled gray hoodie is a no-fail: a classic sportswear cut that we've all worn, and all want to wear again, for comfort or for a deliciously recessive desire. But the icing on the cake is that this basic is embellished with an extremely soft and comfortable material, made in Le Minor's workshops and unique in the world: a merino wool fleece, which makes this piece extremely desirable. The hood is lined, which makes it comfortable when worn over the head, as well as when worn down on the shoulders. As is often the case with Le Minor, the knitwear is generous and comfortable, which contributes to the unique know-how of Le Minor and the sturdiness of the garments that come out of the knitting machines and the expert hands of our workshops.

Creation of our merino wool hoodie

With this hoodie, we wanted to revisit a classic of the mixed wardrobe: the grey mottled fleece sports hoodie. This gray hoodie, usually made of cotton, is here in wool at Le Minor, and even in merino wool. This iconic piece has been popular since the Ivy League imposed its style, which is to say since the American college style dominated the world. To counter this hegemony, we wanted to offer a high-end version of this sports hoodie: a garment made of 100% merino wool, and what's more from an exclusive fleece, invented by the hosiery workers at Le Minor in Guidel, in our own knitting workshops.
