OUR sailor's shirt for men

The marinière is a key piece of the collective wardrobe and of the Le Minor collections. It is a real return to the roots that the brand operates by offering you this historic Breton boat neck t-shirt for men with essential colors. Indeed, the unbleached color of this matelot stripe refers to the natural color of cotton before dyeing, while the navy is naturally reminiscent of the sea, the first source of inspiration for the brand. Our navy color has the particularity of being a true dark and deep navy blue.

Creation of our striped shirt for men

This old fashioned Breton sailor's shirt is made of 100% raw cotton, which makes it a Made In France garment, from the thread to the finish. Indeed, the cotton which composes all the marinières of the brand Le Minor is spun in the Vosges mountains, then dyed in the Pyrenees to be knitted in jersey on our circular machines of the 60s in our Breton workshops. Finally, this jersey is cut and assembled in the same place. Thus the cotton that composes this sailor's jacket is made in the same way as the first sailors, on old machines dating from the 60s.
