Be careful, this traditional sweater is worn very close to the body: it's tight-fitting. Designed not to interfere with sailors' maneuvers, it has retained this close-fitting cut for 100 years. If you prefer a loose fit, opt for a ribbed sailor's sweater (Newport, fisherman's sweater...). Gentlemen, take a size larger than your usual size. See our size chart for more information.

Care instructions :
- Our knitwear is machine-washable: we recommend a cold wool cycle (or 20°C maximum) and a maximum spin speed of 600 rpm.
- However, to make your knitwear last as long as possible, hand-washing is recommended.
- Do not use detergents
- Dry flat, do not tumble dry.
- Iron at 110°C maximum
- Professional care with normal water cycle

Our sailor sweater in virgin wool

Le "véritable chandail marin" pour homme constitue le modèle original que nous fabriquons depuis 1922 à destination des marins pêcheurs bretons. Vêtement emblématique et indémodable, ce modèle est resté inchangé depuis toutes ces années - coupe longue et près du corps, tricotée dans une maille resserrée à partir d'un fil de laine vierge - et constitue le vêtement emblématique de nos collections : c’est le pull que chaque homme à la pointe de la mode devrait avoir dans sa garde-robe.

Ce tricot marin, dans sa teinte écrue douce et naturelle, était conçu initialement pour être porté près du corps, afin de réchauffer les plaisanciers sans gêner les manœuvres sur un bateau. Il était ainsi appelé communément, et même encore de nos jours, le "pull chaussette" car il est moulant et se porte ajusté depuis une centaine d'années. L'activité de l'atelier de bonneterie Le Minor remonte à 1922, et les finitions soigneusement travaillées de ce pull marin authentique et intemporel méritent que l'on s'approprie ce tricot de haute qualité. En cas d'hésitations entre deux tailles, optez pour la plus grande. Creation of our woolen sailor sweater

Our woolen breton sweater for men is a model made in France, knitted according to unique know-how, which we have kept in our workshops in Morbihan for almost 100 years now. The material that makes up this original sweater, ecru, comes from the first shearing of sheep. The wool is spun and dyed before being knitted by us, in a tight knit. This knitting technique guarantees a flawless resistance and a great comfort.
