Our traditional submarine sweater for women

This jumper is reminiscent of the traditional military jumpers worn by submariners that Le Minor, then known as ‘Manufacture Bonneterie Lorientaise’, supplied to the French Navy for decades.

Made from a wool specially spun for the armed forces, this fine, strong, non-shrink yarn ensures that this robust knitwear will last a lifetime. Its structure and drape are enhanced by the tight knit stitch. All the production stages are carried out in our Breton workshops, and the high collar adds warmth and elegance.

The result is a perfect piece for cold winter and mid-season days.

Creation of the traditional submariner sweater for women

Made from a wool yarn specially used for the French navy, this fine, strong, and shrink-proof yarn guarantees the traditional submariner sweater an infallible life span. Its knitted collar is the very proof of the traditional know-how, and of the Le Minor quality. Indeed, the collars are directly hand-tied, for a clean and seamless neckline.
